Taryn, A White Rhino

Taryn usually stays up on a hill away from the road but today she came down close enough for me to get a few shots. There used to be two rhinos, but her companion, Shoddy, died at the age of 46, the oldest rhino in the US. I'm sure Taryn is lonely. The Safari is working to raise money for transportation to get two more. I would imagine it is quite expensive.

Thanks Safari staff, for the corrections.

I would truly hate to get this animal angry! So much power and a nice sharp horn to boot! Enjoy your shots...

Thanks for all the comments.

WLS Staff.. thanks for the information. When I read you were raising money for another one I assumed you bought it. It nice to know you get them on loans.
